    Yeah, I've held the Glock 42 and the XDS, but I haven't shot either one yet; they both feel great in my hands, though. We've got a range in my back yard, so I get a lot of practice in lol. Right now, I'm probably going to get whichever one I can find the cheapest. I've only owned a few concealed carry guns that were just too uncomfortable to carry, so I know I'll probably be able to adjust to whichever one I do end up getting. If not, they're easy to sell!

    Looking to get my first (owned by me) handgun for my 21st soon and looking into some options.

    I have always liked Sigs so I think I have decided on the P229 in 9mm or P320 (compact size most likely) in 9mm also. Glock is out of the question. Don't mind S&W's or Beretta's (I like "my" 92FS but it's a little awkward for concealed carry)

    Any thoughts or advice? I will be planning to conceal carry most of the time, so size is a factor. Size is comparable between the 229 and 320 in compact, although the 320 carries 17+1 while the 229 carries 15+1.

    Not anymore, although I had no issues I had replaced the spring prior to any issue but, in time it was taken care of by Kimber. I have read guys putting 20k with no issues and some instant. I do know, if there is an issue with the extractor it will show itself quickly.
    Recalling their customer service salvaged the love I do have for them. Although disappointed in their attention to production guns, things like trigger pull all over the board and magazine fitment(not hearsay), both issues I have exp in their 1911's make me wonder why I would buy a production 1911 from them ever again. But, like I say their customer service is top notch.
    Oh, and fuck you Buddy.

    Mine was flawless until 10k round count or so. Then the extractor shit the bed. I'm happy to be the special owner who neither had no issues, or issues immediately.
