I'm not really sure I understand what you're saying. Also, don't edit out the username of the quotes or people are going to miss that you quoted their post.

Edit: after reading through a few times I think I got the jest of what you're saying now. If you notice my posts about this topic I referred to them as BUG (Back Up Guns) several times and that's what I'm basing my opinion on. I do practice with my carry weapons as well so I would say I shoot them a fair amount. I wouldn't want to use an LCP for a 3-day course running thousands of rounds through it but I also wouldn't use a P238 for that purpose either so I'm not sure what point you're getting at.

sorry im not entirely sure how to post the username.

I guess im trying to say IMO the 238 is actually more comfortable and capable of handling that rd count. I have shot BUG style guns and the sig is much more likeable. Also the sights are top notch.

Like I said, I agree that the P238 is more comfortable than the LCP. That being said, comfort is near the bottom of the list of important considerations of a BUG.

Point taken. I actually got the gun for my GF and found the gun easy to shoot. Much easier than similar sized pistols.

Dad has the standard TLR-1 and it's a very good light, it throws a brighter beam than our LED maglites.

I dropped my streamlight once when it was attached to my g23 and the strobe stopped working and the light got 50% dimmer. I just sent it back for warranty repairs. Dont drop it haha

    Thanks

Yeah it's brighter than my pelican light I carry. This new HL model rated up to 630 lumens compared to the older model at 300 and the original at only 160.

Dam that sucks! I'll keep this in mind lol. Got a great deal on it from a Law enforcement distributor but still not something I wanna break anytime soon that's for sure

630 lumens with constant on or momentary switch and solid or strobe. Surefires are nice but this is just as bright if not brighter and of the same quality and appearance for a fraction of the cost. Retail is much higher, but I only paid $110 for it. Can't really beat that :D

I have been thinking about picking one up for my AR, I have the TLR-1s on my pistol and love it. The HL seems like a perfect rifle light. Also FYI primary arms has it for $115 right now.

Wow $115 is a dam good price for online!! This light is insanely bright. Would be perfect for a rifle. Its almost too bright for a pistol. I've practiced clearing rooms and small structures and if I turn an accidentally flash a mirror or I get too close to a white wall if really blinds myself. So its an awesome light for the price, but i think a rifle would be a better application for it.
