I got to Sportsmen's Warehouse an hour before they opened to be the first in line so I could get a case of 9mm for cheap (relatively). I've done it a couple times already. SW gets large shipments of ammo in every Sunday night and put it out Monday morning. A year ago the line would be a hundred people deep by the time they opened the door. I assumed it had calmed down a little since then, but to my surprise two Metro cops showed up a few minutes after me to keep the peace. By the time they opened there were about forty people in line behind me. I made a deal with the guy behind me that I'd buy a case of .22 too and he'd buy a case of 9mm( he was after .22) so that way we'd both get two cases. So I get excited when the doors opened only to see there was no bulk 9mm or any .22. I wish I had the hour back. I ended up buying my limit of three boxes of Federal FMJ 9 and a new G-Loomis rod.

I'm aware of that sight and gunbot.net, but a case of Tula( actually 900 rounds) for $290 dollars is outrageous. I can get brass cased ammo for $220. per 1000 at Sportsmens Warehouse( if I'm one of the first couple people in line). Freedom Munitions is where I got my last case of 9mm.

Trying to work a deal on a Ruger 1911 now. Used but low round count and looks great. Hopefully I hear something soon!

Lots of places still having ammo issues. I still can't find 22 on the shelves and the rest of the ammo cases are starting to get restocked slowly but many of the common calibers are still sold out.
