What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

Toughest part would be getting proper depth for the magazine, and getting everything lined up to smoothly push in.

 

Around here it would be really nice to find 9mm, 38, or .223 at Walmart. Everything has been out for weeks.

Definitely gonna try to make one if I have a free weekend sometime.

 

We use this method in our department sometimes I like to wrap the extra length around my forearm. Hard to describe but works nicely when shooting prone unsupported

 

True this but, solid rifle and shooting skills can be acquired and learned through ones own discipline, like you have.
I would of rather been on a Sub or in an MOS field that I actually could not of accomplished on my own. If anything just for the experience points.

I don't know the guy who makes them, saw it pop-up on my FB feed and thought it was a nifty DIY. I reckon they are cheaper than $150 for the Maglula....

lol. When you first asked about stippling, I thought you were talking about a front strap on a .45....not a 2.
I replied that I had tried my hand at it but, it was on a front strap.
Honestly looks custom. You are your own worst critic. No one cares but you.
Any way no meat tenderizer. I would finish it with the original thought and then clean it up lightly with sandpaper or a dremel and sand wheel.



On another note it would be cool to have a pay it forward or fs/ft gun parts thread. We all prob have parts laying around that are collecting dust. I do.

 

Just picked up my new carry gun. Taurus 85 ultra lite .38 +p. Black in color. No one had any holsters for it in stock local. Anyone got a good hip holster they recommend

 

I use a blackhawk IWB holster for my 38+p poly protector. Works great.

 

while we're all talking about holsters... my bravo concealment holster came in the mail yesterday
