Cable lock that turners made me buy so I can legally bring home my new .22lr revolver. It doesn't even fit! Smfh.

    Take it back tomorrow.

You didn't need it to legally bring it home... THEY needed it to legally let you take possession. The legal purpose was served the moment you walked through their door with it.
It does not satisfy California's "secure locking container" requirement for transport. It is nothing more than an affirmative defense should a minor steal the gun from your home and hurt someone with it.

That's what I told them and they told me no. I even talked to a different guy from there but he told me the same thing. So I'm like wtf?

So return it to a different store.

If they give you any shit, call corporate. Turners has been under new management for the last few years and they are tired of dealing with the "old timer" bullshit from some of the older employees.
That only works for a long gun.
Federal law requires that a lock be furnished with all handguns.

That's so lame! I've never notice it. Well all my past firearms come with locks.

    New handguns include them.
When you buy a used handgun, it's a stupid mix of California and Federal law.
Feds require that a lock be "furnished with".
California requires either a lock with a receipt less than 30 days old, OR the California Gun Safe Affidavit.

But the Feds don't accept the CGSA, so we're stuck buying a new lock for a PPT on a handgun.

Most people buy one from Walmart, then take it back, but Turners should issue a refund as well.

Bought 500 rounds of 5.7x28. Not cheap, but still $12 a box cheaper than the current going rate, if you can find it.

Got me a brick of this ammo. Freaking sweet! A must for revolvers and bolt action rifles. Tho, I want to trade 100rnds of these ammo for 100rnds of .22lr hypervelocity cci stingers. Anyone?

I've got a shitload of Remington Thunderbolt 22 if anyone local has a use for it.
    It's uncoated and won't feed in my AR22 or a 10/22.
Actually bought a Heritage .22 single action to shoot it, but I'll never shoot this whole case through that gun.
