you just have to clean your gun after shooting..(arent you supposed to do that anyways??)

 

I got a Glock 22 Gen4 and a few hundred rounds for it. I ordered some Ameriglo I dot pro night sights too. I can't wait till those come in!

 

Depends on the person and the gun, I clean my ruger MKIII after every 4 or 5 session (depending on how much we shoot it), but I clean the barrel after each one, a lot of my guns are done like that, my shotguns just get the barrel swabbed quickly and wiped down, I don't pull apart my semi auto gun until it starts to jam (it's a skeet gun). Only thing I clean after each and every time I shoot is my bolt action centerfires

 

well with corrosive ammo you gotta...bascially you just clean the gun with some windex etc then oil it down so it doesnt rust

 

That's why I got rid of my mosin....forgot to clean it once (aka pulled apart my 10/22 and my ruger MKIII and forgot after fighting with the mkIII)

Took me hours of running brush and solvent through the barrel to get it clean.

 

Picked up a Springfield XD 40 sub-compact yesterday. Will check back in once I get a chance to shoot it.

I bought a Ruger SR9c two days ago. I'm a Glock guy, but I have or have had an example of all the striker fired polymers. The Caracal C is my favorite.

 

I love my WASR's. I've had one since 2004 and last year I bought the revised WASR 10/63. Suprisingly accurate with that light Tapco trigger. When I get the funds I'm gonna buy a quick release mount so I can use a PRO red dot that I have extra from an AR I sold and see just what it can do accuracy wise.

 

The new Kirtland AFB Exchange opened Friday & it sells guns! I was lookin' around & pick up a box of 32 ACP.

Ehhh. Depends on what youre shootin really. I'm almost 4k rounds deep on my Draco SBR without cleaning. I want to see how long it will go before i get a malfunction.

I prefer to pay the extra couple cents a round so I don't have to deal with the corrosive BS. If I found a bunch of corrosive spam cans for a good deal, I'd buy em up for a rainy day, but other than that, non-corrosive FTW.

 

Saw those too, but for a plinking gun I dont know if i'd ever have a zoom optic, so something like this might be best for my use

Corrosive ammo is not that bad, I just wash mine down with hot water after use. I then oil it and it is gtg. Over 5k corrosive rounds through my AK74 and not one spot of rust.

 

In a Wally world around noon today(July 4) and saw 2 boxes of Remington UMC FMJ 250 round MEGA Pack. I almost shat myself. I got one of them, .26 per round. Woo Hoo!
