Got an uplula mag loader for pistols and a fobus holster for my cz82 tester, the mag loaders are amazing, if you shoot a lot of pistols, get one, they are worth it

I put my daughters carseat in the back.
Ordered some Lancer L5 Warfighter polymer 30rd "rebuilds", couple boxes of ammo, I'll be ordering a quad rail and a sling this week.

*Update*- Lancer Mags came yesterday. They are Polymer mags with metal feed lips. They load well and feel solid.

A gun store opened up in Carlsbad, CA right next to my work so I had to check it out. Took me 5 mins to walk there and I ended up buying a gun I've wanted forever! H&K .45 USP

I actually put it on layaway with $500 down. I need to pay my mortgage first lol

Been looking for an HK45C for a long time now. Have cash in hand, just can't find one for a realistic price around here. Dealers want upwards of $1500 new and all the lightly used (< 500 rounds through them) ones I can find the sellers want a grand.

I just keep looking...I'll get one eventually, but at a real price (~$1000 new or ~$700 used) not the inflated bullshit running around right now.

HK45C's tend to run a bit more than the USPs, but the ballpark isn't too far off. I'd say your price is about right for a NIB gun.

Stared at a CZ Woodcock SXS in 28 ga for about 30 minutes today. Would be great for doves next week, but the LOP was a little long, so I couldn't justify the $950 tag on it.

    Oh well...

Posted my USP on here for $600 about 6 months ago... Sold for $700 to a former co-worker.

Paid $500 for it, with 200 rounds through- 4 years of state qual and nothing else. Absolutley mint. Probably the best deal I will EVER get on a gun. Shoulda kept it.

I really, really, really hope those magazines are permanently blocked to 10 rounds. Otherwise, you just posted photographic evidence of a felony and are a part of the problem contributing to the laws that are currently working their way through Sacramento.

Yes, because 10 rounds is so much less killy and scary than other numbers. So much so that puppies and babies can sleep better knowing the libs are doing it "for the children".

first one in carlsbad, ever :D took them a year to obtain permissions and permits. They're right off of palomar airport road and loker ave if you are familiar with the street name. The owner was sayin he plans to open a range in the same building in the next few years

I got bored and decided i needed some thing to kill my time when i come back state side and dropped about a little under 170 to buy a 4 pack of 80% lowers (anodized) + jig and really ugly unfinished 80 percent lower for 70. If anyone is interested in doing their own 80 percent i would recommend this.
(they do not charge tax or SH because it is included in the crowdfunding price.)

    link

This is a crowdfund website and is completely legitimate, this company is trying to expand into cheap affordable anodized lower for about 40 dollars. If he doesn't reach his goal he still gets the crowdfunding and we still get our rewards (80 percent lowers) except they have to pay a little higher percent fee for not reaching their set goal. If you mechanically inclined and love guns why don't you give this a try.

I am not affiliated with this company, i just wanted to share this for our gun/tacoma lovers to get a chance at this wonderful opportunity.

who knows where the pics were taken..and banning something that is in common use is not constitutional anyways..regardless of what laws Cali has passed...

He referred to them as "rebuilds" which was his way of covering his ass as a California resident. At least for the time being, we can legally purchase parts with the intent to rebuild damaged magazines that we owned prior to the end of 1999.
By putting "rebuilds" in quotes, he was "wink wink" indicating that he was illegally importing high capacity magazines.

Add to that, if his rifle is equipped with a bullet button or any other kind of magazine lock, it is an additional felony to install that magazine into that gun.

I agree with you on the Constitutionality, and that battle IS being fought in the courts, but until it is won, the law is the law, and if hapakev is caught with his gun in an illegal configuration, he's looking at 10 years in prison, and as a convicted felon, he will never have to concern himself with California or Federal gun laws ever again.

I have three AR-pattern rifles and a number of handguns, revolver and semiauto. All of my gear is 100% legal in California.
It is cavalier disregard for our laws and constant "nose thumbing" that has pushed the idiots in Sacramento to write this new crop of laws that are working their way into the final stages:
1 - Ban on all lead ammunition (it kills condors)
2 - Ban on sale of ammo by other than an FFL. Background checks required, plus a tax. Ban on online ammo purchases.
3 - Ban on ALL semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines. Would require "assault weapon" registration of all currently owned semi-autos with detachable magazines.
4 - Redefinition of "fixed magazine" to eliminate the legality of the bullet button. Require "assault weapon" registration of all currently owned bullet-button equipped rifles.
5 - Ban on importation of magazine rebuild kits. Ban on possession of high-capacity magazines and requirement to turn in any magazines currently possessed.

#4 and #5 are a direct result of people finding "creative" ways around the law that are illegal but impossible to enforce.
