I think the only reason people were ordering from them is because they had mispriced a case of shotgun shells at about $100 less than it should have been. This would have been a tremendous buy for them as well as a significant loss to CTD so I wouldn't say they were giving them any business other than taking advantage of what appeared to be a pricing error on CTD's part. I also wouldn't condone shopping at CTD under normal circumstances.

I stopped considering Cheaper Than Dirt as a place to do business when they were charging an ass-raping $99 for one Magpul magazine less than a month after Sandy Hook. However, Magpul earned my business forever when they gave MIL/LEO members first preference over suppliers for a max of 10 mags @$14.95 at the height of the hoarding (one year ago as a matter of fact).

funny how everyone loves the principles of supply and demand until it stops working in their favor. Not saying the CTD didnt make a shitty move by raising prices during the gun scare, but if people were buying them at those prices, then more power to CTD. I personally found cheaper places to buy things than CTD at those times, so the real blame rests on those who didnt take advantage of the freedom of information pertinent to a capitalistic economy and made the poor decisions to buy things above market price.

CTD never was the best price for me. I could always find whatever I was looking for cheaper at AIM or SGAmmo.

My beef with CTD has nothing to do with what others would call price gouging but instead of other troll moves they've made over the years. Example: temporarily suspending sale of ALL firearms while they decided if we peasants deserved to have our 2nd amendment rights or not. There's a local Farm & Ranch store that we LOVED to shop at for many years. In the days following Sandy Hook they pulled all firearms that weren't considered 'hunting' rifles from their shelves would imposed a voluntary restriction on magazines and all sorts of things that 'looked evil' w/o the gubment saying a word. I haven't given them a dime of my money since and the sticker was razored off the back of my Tacoma the same day I found out about this BS. If they're going to crumble in the face of nothing then how can I trust them to back my rights when actual adversity comes along? I spend my money with those who will stand up for my rights when they come into threat and not those who voluntarily give up my rights for me.

There are plenty of names that I hate and refuse to use, own or buy and I see people proudly display their items all over various internet forums every day so it's pretty obviously a lost cause but I still believe in standing for what you believe in and companies only understand one thing... the bottom line. Keep shopping and it doesn't matter what you say about them so long as you keep giving them profit.

That's just my opinion and y'all all welcome to yours. It is a free market after all.

^ in that case I agree to not support that business, same as I will not support Camelbak and REI and any company that financially supports organizations that actively seek to close off road access to deserts and trails.

It has come to our attention that your recent order of item 3-0308957 could have been incorrect on the website. There is a possibility that the item was listed as a 250 round case and this item is actually a 25 round box. We do apologize for this.

If we can cancel the order we will and refund the account for you.
If the order has processed and shipped we will reroute the packages back to CTD. We will refund the account at that time.

Again we do apologize for the inconvenience of this situation.

2 places that will never see a dime of my money, Cheaper than Dirt and Dicks sporting goods. They both pulled guns off their shelves after Sandy Hook. I know this doesn't make any difference on their bottom line but its the principle to me.

I won't shop at CTD. I will shop at dicks from time to time, but not on a regular basis (I follow the .22 ammo). If I have a choice I don't shop at either
