I got excited today. Got a thing in the mail from Gander Mountain and they had the Remington Bucket of Bullets (1400 rounds) for like 69.95. Then it says "In Stores Only". They also had 1600 CCI in the ammo can for 99.95, but it's another In store only deal. I highly doubt they have any in stock in the store, but you could maybe try calling them like we've been havin to do with Cabela's.

I wish people would realize that "price gouging" is an effect of the market and a good thing. It follows the law of supply of demand. Obviously when the supply of a good dwindles the price for that item is going to go up if the demand is there. If the demand is really there it will send a signal to the producers of the product that people want that product, and for the time being they will be motivated to create it because the price is raised because of the lack of supply. As the producers of these products produce more of these goods to meet that demand the prices will come back down as the supply rises to meet the demand. If price controls are introduced to stop "price gouging", shortages will result because the producers of these goods has no motivation to meet the demand because there is no profit for them. Or if the prices of the materials that the producers purchase to make their goods are rising and price controls are set in, they will not be able to sell their product at a profit, so they will just not make any new goods. Businesses that sell their goods at a loss do not stay in business very long. So please don't complain too much about rising prices. It is just the market trying to get you the shit you want.
