Need help identifying a cartridge from you ammo gurus

    So recently i was given a box of vintage 9mm ammo...never opened it until tonite and found a bunch of ammo that AINT 9mm in there

    I have it pictured below next to a 38special round for size comparison

    I also have pics of the 2 mags

    MOST of it has LC 52 LC 53 or LC 54 on the head stamp which I know means Lake City and year of manufacture

    but i have NO idea what caliber these are or if theyre worth anything to anyone...I have approx 80 of these plus 2 15 round mags

    Lots of talk of nasty corrosive chinese stuff that was stamped LC52 (on a a couple other forums I just checked)

    looks an awful lot like the .30 carbine in that link

    hmmm....good to know...MOST of it is stamped LC53 with a small handful of 52 and 54

    i wonder how much to price them at....


    same box apparently is 1943 manufactured 9mm ball from Australia judging by the headstamp...i have 6 4 count boxes of that labeling still intact but boxes arent sealed...

    and thanks to you guys figuring out the caliber...i was able to ID the mags

    1 is a National Postal Meter mag and one is Underwood brand
