Bought a AR lower for my son today.

I got a compete Stag lower minus the buffer tube and buffer spring today. As soon as I can, I'll get him a Stag 16" upper.

Thats the only way to do it I think. You can get the 16" kit for like $500 and you just build your AR for under $750. Congrats!

There was a gun show this past weekend in town. The CMMG guys were there. Has a table full of AR's,
base model CMMG upper and lowers +_ stocks = $999
upgraded assembled complete with rails $1399

Was that a good deal? I passed it up and now I'm second guessing myself.

I'm building a KISS Stag for ~$900...so that price isn't too outrageous.

The idea of building an AR crossed my mind, but I don't know anything about brands or pricing. It would pretty much have to be a Stag upper since I'm a lefty. I would get the 6L upper (24" SS bull barrel).

Do you guys know if $200 shipped is a good deal for a Stag stripped lower?

/hijacking.
