ehh, it's fine. i just bought mine, but it's a 12 gun safe (which really means 6) and it's about completely full and need room for the pistols.

just make sure if you get one that's meant to be bolted down, you bolt it down! my brother got a light one (150lbs) and they didnt break in his safe, but just stole the whole damn thing. (with his passport, 5 guns, check books and such inside)

i watched this video and it pretty much changed my views completely about safes and such. if you're looking to spend good money on a safe, this might be worth the time to watch.

i'm not 100% sure, the model # starts with a S, and this is the link to academy http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/s..._321851_-1__?N=626381016&Ntt=gun+safe&Ntk=All

FYI, if you plan on mounting a AR in the door it may not work if you have all the shelfs set up on the side opposite of the plugs, but my AR has a wider handguard, i'll see with dads colt.

They are fun guns to shoot until you forget to keep your thumb down and almost have it ripped off by the charging handle. Thats my only complaint about that gun.

It shoots the same...same rounds, etc. You can change out the lower receiver and the barrel so it can shoot a 6.8 spc round though. With the gas piston you can shoot about 1,000 rounds through it without having to clean it. The sucker is heavy as hell though...a lot heavier than my M4 in the Army with pretty much the same equipment on it.
