Started assembling my lower today and promptly stopped after I botched the first step. Rookie mistake, sent the detent pin across the room (can't find it). So, I went online and ordered 4 more for my second attempt

I did that also, but instead of buying more I just made a couple.
When I installed the one I made I had the lower in a gallon size zip lock bag and when I popped out I was able to find it.

I really like that guy's videos. I used one of them as a guide when I built my first AR this past summer. Also, I completley understand the firing of detents across the room. I shot at least 3 of them, but was lucky enough to find them. You can bet that the next time I build an AR, I will have extras on hand!

JP Enterprises makes a comp for bull barrels that is not only an excellent comp but it can be timed to blend perfectly with the contour of you barrel. (No need for a crush washer)

    Finally finished my AR today

    Anderson lower
    Palmetto parts kit and BCG
    Moe stock and grip
Troy rail 13" alpha rail with built in sight
    Leupold mark AR scope (1.5-4x)

The barrel, flash hider, and upper are unknown, they were just what was at the shop (I work in a gun shop during school), we suspect the upper is an Anderson.

Just found out the UPS guy left a present for me, should be my assembled upper from PSA. I just have to get it 'legalized', assemble my lower and I'll have myself my first AR15 :yay:

I won't have pics for a few weeks unfortunately. I have to bring my upper to a gunsmith in order to make it legal in MA. I have to have the flash hider and bayonet lug removed and I bought a YHM brake/compensator that I'll have pinned in it's place. The local shop is backed up a bit at the moment with orders so I'll wait until they slow down.
