I've seen instructors post where they have noticed the blacks to be the most reliable.

In metal the current favorite is NHMTG.

It all varies as time goes by, companies change hands, good lots get sold out, etc., etc.

Magazines - PMAG 11.99 @ botach tactical however call before you order and make sure they are in stock. Go to slickguns.com to get the code for the discount.

Scopes - If you want a cheap gtg scope look at primary arms, they get good reviews on their red dots. I have the M3 primary arms on my AK74 and it has run well it has helped me kill at least 25 hogs.

As soon as I get to the range I'll post some notes. I can say the glass on my 1-4x PST is really great, turrets are tight and the reticle is a good design for close-in stuff and medium range precision. The magnification is as close to a true 1x as I have seen, so shooting both eyes open shouldn't be an issue.

Awesome and great for when you have double feeds too... Pretty useful to be honest but others may think otherwise.. ???

looking into scopes now instead of a red dot. might end up doing a red dot on a 45 degree mount after more money comes in.

i know leupolds are good scopes, anyother suggestions for around the $150-250 range?

Im really liking the idea of having both releases on the same side. Slapping the paddle was always awkward for me ...wasted a lot of time, never could really get it smoothly into muscle memory

And the double feed clearing is the icing on the cake

But anyone find a ny downsides im not seeing?

The only if any downside that I have seen is that when releasing the mag u might hit the bad lever on the way down and release the bolt... But I really havent seen anyone do that to be honest... Someone correct me if I am wrong...

Millets 1x4 DMR scope is pretty good. I can punch out to 600 yds on mine.

We were just talking about Redfield scopes the other day either here or in the "Show Off Your Guns" thread. They're owned by Luepold and make great scopes and are more affordable.

    Nice.
Where did you get your A2 stock ?
Seems like there's a wide range of quality with those.
