CDNN is a legit company. That's a crazy low price, must not be a popular item due to its normal price. I hear mixed reports of LWRCi anyway.

Yeah, Im looking to get my 1st AR. Interested in the piston and the price is about what I would want to pay. Probably a BCM lower to go with it.

I know CDNN has an upper with just the LWRC rail and they have a note at the bottom of the description for it. The rest of cheap parts.

Installed a limited rotation sling swivel cup on my Magpul UBR. Works great.

CDNN is as good as gold. I bought a Taurus 45 ACP revolver from them a while back. I only had it for 6 months and UPS and Taurus had it in their possession more than I did. It would cock but not fire the rounds. Not a good thing to have a cocked and locked up revolver that hasn't fired the round yet. I had to literally push the hammer off with my left thumb to make the sucker fire. It went back to Taurus 3 times, No problem found. I get it back and new rounds nor my reloads would fire in it. CDNN has a policy of not accepting returns on firearms whatsoever. But the folks there when they heard my story and saw all of the shipping documents back and forth between Taurus and myself he said he would exchange it for me and did so with a brand new S&W 686 .357 revolver, 4" barrel. I also did a video showing me pulling the trigger as hard as I can and the pistol "not" firing. Between the documents and the video they said I had endured enough stress over that particular pistol. So CDNN is a top notch outfit IMHO.

What model? My only Vortex is the Viper PST 2.5-10x32 FFP, which is surprisingly good. I highly recommend you get the Switchview throw lever. Makes using the magnification knob a lot easier.

Get it. The mag knob on the PST is tight. Trying to turn it from position without the throw lever sucks.

Finally got my Grendel built a month ago. Turned out pretty sweet, and shoots sweet.20150522_171949.jpg

My first 5 rounds at 100m after the test fire, and some quick scope adjustments. Hoping to get a little more time soon to really get her dialed in.

Sweet looking rifle there, keep us informed about your load developments. How many shots per case on that caliber do you get before needing to anneal the cases? I guess like any other higher pressure round, after maybe two firings it needs to be annealed to get a few more loads through them? Got a Chrony to get speed readings from?

Will do. That is the plan. I want to do some playing around and find the best round I can.

Too bad you didn't ask a little sooner, these were just on sale for $100;http://www.rainierarms.com/rainier-arms-bcg-phosphate. Couldn't find any bad reviews on them, and reviews said they're comparable to BCM, Spikes, LMT. I should have bought two.

it sounds silly...but I need a set of sights for a new rifle I just acquired in trade...and there's about 4 million brands and such out there

I don't want to spend $200 on irons because I'm planning on picking up an aimpoint eventually...but I wanna get acquainted with it with irons first and get it dialed in

the MBUS were tops on my list just because price/quality seems to be the best deal right now but wasn't sure if anything was in the same ballpark
