What does the government not understand about the fact that there are many more of us than them? And the fact that the country doesn't run without us so killing us all because we're tired of the nonsense isn't gonna work either. People will reach a point where this bullshit is not acceptable & the goverment will be eliminated by the people.......AGAIN like when the country was born. Keep pushin mother fuckers, you will push yourself out of existence & what made this country so great to begin with will emerge once again. OF THE PEOPLE rules, get in fuckin line with that or be gone.

HEELLLLO! if we can't buy them then we'll make them, we are Americans dammit, get a fuckin clue!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me first say that I do not want to start a flame war. Second let me say I am not against guns per day, but I am against allowing everyday Joe's to purchase military and police type weapons. There is no purpose in an averge person to have a assult weapon in their position. I have no issue with shotguns or hunting rifles or standard handguns for that matter. My issues is with the high calibur guns and assult rifles. The average person does not need a gun that can lay down 1,000 rounds a minute or blow a car in half (as cool as that might be). I am not hunting eleaphant nor trying to defend myself from the Chinese Army (if you are paranoid that you might need to please seek help).

AMEN TO THAT.

Now that we have moved from democracy to socialism which is the stepping stone to communism, I don't think a hand gun or shot gun is going to make a difference against a tank or army for when the US public says that we are a free nation and takes back the country for what it was founded under.

The bottom line is that any restriction on what type of firearms that can be owned is unconstitutional. the 2nd Amendment does not explicitly say what type of arms we are allowed to keep and bear (muzzleloaders, pistols, shotties, assault rifles, etc.) therefore to ban ownership of any type of firearm violates the 2nd Amendment. Yes, this includes machine guns, and rifles that shoot ridiculous rounds.

I agree that the average citizen probably has no need to own an AR-15, but that does not mean that a law should be created to prevent them from owning one if they so chose.

but that is my opinion, call me crazy

What in the above quote do you not understand about our constitution?
Our resposnibility as americans and our right to be free should demand that we understand and keep our constitutional rights from being taken from us a little at a time. And slingshots aren't going to keep the bad guys away no matter who they are from making you a slave to their country.

buy the lower. It is the part that you won't be able to get later. you will be able to get anything you want other than that. the lower carries the registration. (In ohio and kentucky you don't need to register)
it is roughly 400-500 bucks

TigerFan,

I would say purchase a lower (http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/S..._Receiver.html)

then purchase a lower parts kit, with a collapsible buttstock.

total should run you around 200-230 depending on what you want, you can buy the upper receiver at a later point, no rush on that.

good luck
