i should preface this with I have NEVER hunted in my life

I have a bunch of land that is starting to be over run by coyotes...i know the laws etc on when/how I can hunt them

What I'm looking for is tips/tricks to bring them in

I have a couple spots scouted out and my uncle already has stands in our hunting areas of the land...but I need ideas on what works and what doesnt as far as calls/time of year etc

There are plenty of calls/decoys you can get to help. Also trapping may prove effective out there. Maybe I'll go with you sometime and we can thin them out.

a rabbit in distress mixed with some fox yelps works well in the mountains. keep your rifle handy as much as possible. you never know when they will appear. and make sure your shit dont stink.....if you know what i mean (they can smell really well)

few months old. but also if your uncle kills a deer and say can’t find it, or finds it to late and meat it bad, if you can legally (we can in TN) try and get close to it and when they come in to eat it kill them.

I have done this where i hunt, it was a road kill, but i could not get them to come in on it in day light they did end up coming in on it at night but i could not do anything.
