I ordered one of these. It's the Benchmade Hunt Series 'Saddle Mountain Skinner'. Should be a great addition to the fleet.

If you want something to get a splinter out or cut the tap of your new shirt, get a folder. If you are going to defend yourself or actually "use"the blade, get a fixed blade

I love my Gerber knife. It's only a 3" blade and it's nothing fancy but it's lasted me a couple years. I use it for everything and always have it hanging in my pocket. Only cost $25

I don't know much about knives other than I have a good one
