Looking to buy a Taurus 9mm 24/7, anyone out there have any commets on this gun. I have never owned a hand gun (I do have 2 shotguns though) so this would be my first one. I walked into Bass Pro Shops last weekend and its the only one that really caught my eye and it feels great in my hand.

    Thanks.

Taurus is making some fine hand guns. I recommend going or calling your local range to see if they have one and spend an hour or so shooting it. I really enjoy shooting the 9mm round.:fenforcer:

If possible I'd try one out at a local range so you can compare it to other kinds. My opinion is to get what you're the most comfortable holding in your hand. There's no use having a gun that you don't feel comfortable shooting.

Thanks for the advice, I'll call around town and see if I use on first before buying.

Compare prices with your local Academy Stores, they have this same model, most of the time they have lower prices than Cabela's and Bass Pro, in your area (Dallas, TX) they are plenty of different locations, if one does have it you can always request if any other around has it.

    Good Luck.

Thanks Vega! I found my gun at Academy....about $80 less than BassPro. I bought the 2 tone grey and black 9mm 24/7 Pro.....awesome feel and look. Now I just need to fire the thing.

    Again Thanks.:D

I have a 92B and its an excellent large frame, nicer grips and a lasermax make it a pleasure to shoot.
I have to suggest considering a larger caliber, though.
