Is any one here knowledgable about the old smith and Wesson revolvers? I bought this at an estate sale. Here's what I know so far. It was built in 1983, it's a no dash model. I purchased it from the late owners wife. Unfired as far as she knows and appears to be. I have the original box, all paperwork and labels etc. thanks for any info. Will post pics if it will help.

Nice find. When I researched my 581-1, i found out there is a recall out on these. I think it had to do with using new ammo in this older gun. Im sure if you contact SW they can help you out. They offer good customer service for older weapons.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    Nice piece.
Nice addition to a collection or you could find a buyer pretty easily.
Check the SW Forums for an idea of price.
You should be able to get $700 pretty easily.
