Walther PPK/s Twenty Two?

So I just found out the other day that Walther is making their famous PPK/s in .22! Anyone have one of these? I love all things rimfire, but some of these gun companies are making and out-sourcing their .22's with less quality than their centerfire arms. I wonder if this PPK/s 22 is actually built as well as the .380 version. Pretty neat.

Yeah, for sure. I need to go pick one up and look at it to judge. I just wish there were more tough ass .22 pistols out there. Ruger MK3's and revolvers are an exception, all of those are well made, but i'd like to see more .22 auto-loaders built with the same quality as the Ruger's and guns like the Beretta Cheetah .22. I think the majority of people right now would pay more for better quality being that .22 has gotten so popular. But increasingly rare.

I'd rather get one of the 70/80's German walther 22lr pistols. All steel ftw
