Benelli M4 mods

I've heard a few people say that the Benelli M4's have a LOP (length of pull), that suits chimpanzies, well but is a little long for many people.

I agree. The gun is difficult to shoulder and the butt snags on clothing. If you wear body armor, then it's extra difficult to shoulder it.

There is a military version with a collapsable stock the M1104, but many can't get that.

So here's a quick fix.......

Saw off the end. Fill with Marine Tex or Devcon steel putty, Sand and drill ends for shorter buttpad.....

Work as of now.....

Looks like a lot, but it's really not.


Essentially the only weight adding item is the light and the aluminum shell holder.

You'll never know when you need light, and when the time arrives that you have to walk around clearing your house with your shotty and pistol is when you're gonna want light. Then, it's OK to have a light and gun pointing at a perp/BG/subject.

 

Yeah...I hate room clearing with a shotty....I make a much better #2 or #3 in the stack...3 is preferred.

Clearing my own house...I'm not sure...but I'd prolly go with the pistol anyways.

 

I'm working on it and posting as I go along. Here it is post random orbital sander. Small surface voids are OK. I'm gonna finish this during the week. I gotta go do my taxes and the tenderloin pot roast I promised on the food forum of this site.

 

very nice! not cool that the colapsing stock is LEO only.
