Possibly Lend me an air rifle? ( Anaheim, CA. )

Hi,

I have been having some issues at my work with some ground squirrels chewing the electrical wires in my truck and a few other co workers. I let the manager know and he said to take care of them my self... Lot of help he is. I looked online for califronia game and hunting regulations. It's legal to kill nuisance ground squirrels but not tree squirrels. I have a pistol air gun that shoots bbs. But i dont want to wound the squrrels and leave them bleeding out I would like a clean kill using a more powerful air rifle.

Is it possible someone near me would be willing to lend me a rifle? Maybe i could rent it from your or something.

Also, If anyone know the regulation better maybe I missed something and it not legal to kill this pest let me know.

The only thing I saw prohibited from being used is poison.

Did you ever get them pests? I got into air guns because of tree rats on our property and one that got into 3 of our family cars. Traps didn't work and couldn't use poison, so had to shoot them.
