I have one. It has almost no recoil and has a weird feel. It is like holding a toy when you first pick it up. I order my ammo, it is little cheaper that way. I doubt you will ever be able to buy the ammo at Walmart, but the availability seems good otherwise.

I think it was worth the money. The gun is built well and is easy to maintain.
The safety is on the frame above the of the trigger. I thought the safety would be an issue since I am used to XDs and 1911s. The safety has proven to be a nice place to rest your trigger finger and is easy to manipulate.

Here is a forum I read through when I bought mine.

    http://fnforum.net/index.php

The pistol is fun to shoot and is easy to carry. It does shoot level to 100 yards. The mag holds 20 rounds. It does not take long to blow $20.00 worth of ammo because it is so fun.

I don't have any pics. They are all the same anyway.

The only things I have heard about this pistol is that it will really suck to keep trying to get the ammo. Since it is a bullet that was made only for this one pistol. I actually haven't seen any of the five-seven ammo around here in the Florida panhandle.

Otherwise, I like the gun. FN makes a quality product.

The 5.7 x 28 mm is a NATO round and fits some other weapons. One is the PS 90. I think it is FN's bullet. I do not know if anyone else builds a gun to chamber it besides FN.

The SS190 bullet, with steel penetrator tip and aluminum core , at its velocities, can go through a vest. This round is restricted from civillian sales.

Interesting weapon, but limited by ammo that's not readily available.

I have shot a few clips thru one that a friend of mine bought. The gun it SUPER lite... like crazy lite, but still has next to zero recoil. I really enjoyed shooting it.

The last time I checked, plenty of 5.7x28mm ammunition was still available. SS190 is only one of many 5.7x29mm variants that happens to be an AP round. Although even most non-AP intended 5.7 rounds still have AP capabilities.

It is still possible to legally obtain and own SS190 rounds, but only in states where it is not prohibited. Importation stopped somewhere around '05 and supplies are extremely limited. I'm not too sure of any reasonable purpose for a civilian to need this particular round though.

lots of ammo available around here. the two Funshops i frequent always have it, and i can find 2000rd lots on line for under $500. it will be cheaper to shoot than my .40 is.

how about accuracy? i know the trajectory is nice and flat. is it possible to pull off a nice group at 50 yrds?

SS190 is still availible also, if you don't mind paying.

What I mean by ammo availability is that you have to go to a gun store to buy it.

It's not readily available at a Walmart, or standard sporting goods shop. But at a gun store usually.

I have one. Decent gun, low recoil, decently accurate, loud, fun.

Ammo is readily available around here although it isn't exactly cheap compared to, say, 9mm. Roughly $21 per box of 50 last time I checked. But at least you can find it which is more than I can say for the 9, 40, 45, 38/357 rounds right now.
