what do you all reccommend for them? Ive been looking at the nikons, pretty decent IMO. I dont need anything crazy, since at max im probably gonna range to maybe 30-40 yards.

was surfin the fleabay, and found what seems pretty good deal

    Nikon Laser 600 team realtree
    brand new
    1/2 yard increments
    6x20 monocular

    $210 with free shipping.

I tried to do some product reviews on them, but not much came up.

nikon makes some badass rangefinders. i looked at a few last year...along with some leupolds, and honestly, the nikons i liked alot better, and they were easier to use.

I've always had success with Busnells. Good performance for the money. If you want some really good stuff, Leica.

Im sure Nikon is just as good.

I only bowhunt so a cheapest Bushnell - I think it's the 450? - does everything I need it to do. They are around $150 at Cabela's and Bass Pro. If you think you want to use it for rifle hunting as well I would buy the Nikon - you'll get the most bang for the buck IMO.
