Uh, I'd say that I'm mostly know for my gun collection, and competitive shooting. I've been shooting since I was a kid.

I've got Glocks, SW revolvers, and 1 .45.

Then a few rifles mostly customs for long range work.

Then a couple shotguns.

I'm getting more into reloading as ammo prices creep up. Then as goes with rifles and pistols goes the accessories. You're going to need good glass to see what you shot 600 yards away. Range finders, etc. etc. etc.

In fact, shooting has led me to a need to transport the stuff and for hiking, camping, ect outdoors. That's why I want a truck and that truck will be a Toyota.

My husband reloads our 12 gauge stuff. A few years ago - ammo prices were bad also and it was mostly due to the lead. It was hard finding cheap lead shot. When we found it cheap, we'd buy in bulk. I remember one day - picking up 10 - 25lb bags of shot. I think we still have a bunch. That and bags & bags of wads, primers, & powder.

Not sure where you're located but here's some stuff you might want to look at....this stuff is located in PA.

Shoot

I`m not surprised.
4W goes with sportsmen. I guess we should add sportswomen now.
My late wife was a good shot. But she did not enjoy the rigers of a horseback Elk hunt.
And I do not mean games.

My point exactly. Shooting often comes with gear and Forest Service roads.

This may not belong.
But without people like me, you would not be buying tacos or sleeping well.

I like to shoot at people, just with paintballs. Not as messy.

Well, that`s a start.
And the shooters do not clean up the mess. We have people to do that.

Never even thought of trying it. It would depend. I hate the cold weather and I can't sit still long enough. So - gimme a place where its warm & dry and there are lots of things to shoot at...... Yeah, if it were that easy, everybody would be doing it.

Upland game is warm and dry and you can do it anytime somewhere.
Also it is lots of fun.
And folks appreate your class act double.
It is a good reason to buy a fancy one. I won`t say better. The plainest guns will kill birds.
But that is not what folks come to this forum for. We want the best.
The best factory shotgun costs three times a taco.
Custom goes up.

As ret. you are old enough to remember.
I`m sure the Inf. today does not clean up the mess.

Cops do not clean their killings up. They have people to do that. Or it is left undone.

I have a .22 my wife target practice with. My FIL lets me use his .270 when we shoot at his house. Paper is too boring. We like things that react when hit. Mostly empty propane cylinders, full oxygen tanks, paint cans or if all else fails a target that spins when you hit it. Gets boring looking down range saying "Did you hit it? I don't know.... Was that hole there before?"

We want more guns, like maybe his n hers shotguns or Beretta CX4-Storm .45 carbines, but the house has stripped the money tree. We'd like to get CCW's and a couple pistols, but the NY CCW laws are insane... I miss being in SC where you can buy it and leave with it, carry it in your car unloaded, and carry on your property loaded all without a permit. As such, we'll probably just get the carbines for now. Maybe break them down into small briefcases and stash behind the seats of the truck.
