Wolf ammo also uses a steel case. With a Polymer coating. Some have said the Polymer coating sticks to the chamber as it gets hot, and can cause some interesting malfunctions.

I prefer to shoot NATO ammo. M855, etc. Lake City ammo seems to be the most consistant.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    Ammo to go
    AIM Surplus
    Palmetto State Armory
    Ammoman
    Wideners

Those are a few off the top of my head. It's been a while since I've bought ammo online. No $$$

FWIW, I have had pretty much no problems with Wolf, even in my 10.5" suppressed rig.

The only problem is that it's way underpowered so if I run a H2 buffer in the gun the bolt might not cycle all the way sometimes. With an H buffer it runs a bit better with Wolf.

I wouldn't try to take a carbine class with Wolf though.

Very true I like to use good ammo in most of my guns, I use wolf in my AK but its an AK lol I would not dare put it through any other of my guns.

thanks, I traded some of my left over .308 for some of that PMC FMJ stuff. It seems like thats what you find the most of is FMJ...I want hollow points or balistic tips, I wanna do some damage and not just poke a little hole!

    XM193, Q3131A, IMI M855, Mk262 Mod1, Hornady TAP 5.56 75 gr. T2 just to name a few.
The XM193 is pretty easy to find, and relatively cheap. The others I mentioned are somewhat tougher to find, and quite expensive.
I don't shoot the steel cased stuff.

Cabelas has advertised Fiocchi 40gr ballistic tips for about $20/50.
I shoot HSM 60 Vmax into little tiny groups.
HSM is an excellent factory reloader.
    Same for Black Hills bluebox.
77gr MatchKings for reaching out there, but you need to twist them....think 1/8....

I have seen a few setups where guys have a red dot and then a 3X power behind it to use if needed. Ive read that the EOtech is VERY nice but a little out of my price range. I want it to be and an entry stlye to a medium range gun...medium being about 100 yards. and yes modern BR.

For that range you won't need a magnifier that costs $499.99. If you zero your sights in at 25yrds you will also be zeroed in at 200 as well.

I have an Aimpoint Comp 3 with flip up battle sights from troy industry. You may want to go with Bushnell Holo sight http://www.grabcart.com/product/hom...s/Bushnell-1x-Matte-Holosight-Bushnell-510023 for $238 it's the same thing as the Eotech. In fact I have been told that Bushnell makes the Eotech sight.

What kind of budget are you working with on sights and accessories?
