I love the AR-15/M4- there are just sooooo many options that you can do on that platform. I have one regular 16" and I would like to make another in a 20" bull barrell, precision rifle. Or if your state allows you can also do a killer SBR.

I love my Bushmaster M4. Versatile, accurate (although expensive to shoot). I also love my Savage 10FP in .308. I consistently trump custom guns out to 600 yds. with a rifle that's a fraction of the cost.

Rail is 2 piece Midwest Industries. Had it for 2 years or so, solid as a rock, no complaints.

Does the ORC come with the fixed front sight gas block? If not I would def go with a one piece free float rail system. Gives you more sight options and just looks better IMO. Midwest and Yankee Hill make some excellent ones.

The ORC doesnt come with a front sight post. I have heard good things about the yankee hill. I friend of mine works at a gun store and told me he could hook me up with a yankee hill plus install for $65.

Wow, if you can get a yankee hill fore end for $65 installed that's a helluva deal. I'd jump on that asap. Does he hook you up on ammo too
