    AR lower and spikes tactical .22 upper. That way you can get another upper later in 5.56 or whatever. It gives you options.

    thats what i was thinking. it would be my first gun. I have shot many guns before. but i dont really like high caliber. my most fun shooting was a .22lr Ruger Revolver. and it was my grandpas and i wanted to buy it from him right there. haha. i was thinking that it would be a good invstement so i could move up to a 5.56 if i wanted

    Or you could get a .223/5.56 rifle and buy a .22 conversion kit for an extra ~$150.

    nah. i think the other way would be better because i would only shoot .22 anyways.

    If you would mainly shoot .22 then a dedicated .22 upper is the way you should go.
