How much ammo do you keep?

can never have enough. im ready for war. have at least 2 ammo boxes for every rifle owned, 270, 300, 300 wsm, 30.06, 7mm, 30-30, not counting the multiple 9mm, 357, and 22.

and the 12 gauges.

200rds 9mm
150rds. 308
100rds 12ga
25rds .222

im sure to much in governments eyes and not enuff in mine

 

i have about 900 rounds of 38special fmj(got it for cheap) and a couple hundred rounds of 9mm and 40 cal...i need to get some more 22lr and 12 gauge ammo as well as some 357 and 45 and 223 for my rifle

 

Never seem to have enough 257 Roberts on hand. - Probably one of the only if not only one using this caliber on here.

 

in every caliber that i own, i try to keep
1000< surplus in my closet for unforeseen events
500 for range and recreational use or add on to unforeseen events if needed
250-500 for shotgun ammo

 

Shooting is fun. Plastic bottles filled with colored water. Steel. I finally got tired of buying a few boxes here and there and always seeming to be out or low on ammo, so I only buy by the brick or case now. Down to about 300 rounds in any of the calibers I shoot the most, and I start to feel like I have to lay off shooting till I get more ammo.

Prolly got 300-400 9mm rounds and around 200 45 acp rounds. For the long guns umm.... maybe 300 .308 rounds, only about 50 7mm mag rounds and got alot more to reload in the closet. Shotguns??? Got 3 full cases with 8 boxs to a case and 1 case wit only 2 boxes left so..1000 12 gaugae rounds. Not even gonna count the 20 ga rounds. And prolly got a box of OO buck and a box of #2 turkey. Steel??? 7 boxes of BB Yall can do the math!!

 

i have 200 rounds of 5.56 in mags already.. and a drum mag..

 

I have 10 .40 rounds.... in my pistol. I need to break down and buy some.

 

I voted 1-250, but then I remembered that my guns and ammo were all tragically lost in a boating accident earlier this summer.

 

I'd keep more if there wasn't a shortage of .223 in Hawaii.

 

right now i am building up my .223 ammo. have about 750 rounds right now. gander mountain has a 100 box of AE .223 for $29.99 so might go get a few hundred more. i have about 200 rounds of: .380, .38sp, .40 s&w, and about 300 rounds of 12 gauge ammo

 

this is only the extra that i keep for my AR-15. 1000 rounds + 4 mags just in case i don't have time to grab or look for my vest, or range bag.

i'm building one for every cal/mm that i own. shotgun will only have 250-500 though (depending on what fits in a .50 can.).

and i have several hundred of each laying around for range use.

 

2000 .223 about 500 9mm only 50 .45 :/ and various other calibers.

 

About six hundred 223 and about 150 tracers that im too scared to shoot. A good friend of mine started a woods fire like that.
