Im thinking about trading this:

for a ruger Scout like this:

what do you think, i was thinking id get more use outta the ruger because its not so heavy and hunting would be way nicer! Plus theres not 1000 yd ranges that i know of around me in CO unlike in AZ where i got my Remington and could actually put it through its paces at long range.

If you havn't already, check out gunbroker.com Search your rifle, you can get an idea of the highs and lows of real world pricing/bidding. I'm no expert but I would guess somewhere from $4-500.

I recently finished this build. On the upper is a VLTOR MUR 1S upper receiver, 18" McGowen stainless fluted 1/8 twist barrel, , JP 15 1/2" tub, BCM charging handle, Surefire muzzle device (this is temporary until I get my AAC can mount) and a Young National Match BCG. The lower is a LMT with the obvious MAGPUL furniture with a Geissele SSA trigger.

Now I have to get it ready to paint and I have to find a good deal on a Leupold MR/T piece of glass with a illuminated reticle....

Heres my Ruger Scout with a few extras on it, gonna be getting a scope in the fall for hunting season but depending on how much i like the iron sights when i go shooting next weekend i might only toss the scope on it when im hunting.
