$200 at Wal-Mart will get you a norinco 870 clone. 90% of parts from an 870 will work with it (h&r pardner)

To me it's like either wanting raised white letter tires or not. I personally like black and chose to keep them that way. I don't want any color on my weapons. Tan seems to be the color of choice right now but I just don't care for it. That's just my opinion though.

You did a very good job and it looks pretty cool.

Very interesting. Atlantic Firearms has them sold out at the moment but I do like that style and price.

last round bolt hold open. no gas plug to adjust between bird and buck shot. no need to rock and lock the mags in like an Ak just since the vepr has a magwell its just as simple as popping the mag straight in like an ar15 etc. also the vepr is built on the rpk stamping so the receiver is stronger

you can mod a saiga to do all of those thing but youre gonna spend more plus converting it than just buying a vepr

Finally got this beauty. Been a long time coming. I have always used my dads, but he wouldn't give it to me so I had to get my own. Took a long time searching but I found a guy who had it, his dad passed away and he doesn't believe in guns. (Californian )

Anyhow, it was in the original box. Tag still on the trigger guard. Hunted with it last night, like an old friend.

She needed about 2 hours of TLC, a dozen rags and 1/2 a can of cleaner/lube/preservative, but she shined up real pretty. :woot:

Put a couple hundred rounds theough this one with irons today. Hitting 8" steel @150 yds pretty reliably. This dang brake is LOUD though. If I build a dedicated M4 in BLK i will be using a flash hider, not a brake.

Shooting from the sitting position and supported standing (barricade) by the way. Lots harder for me than from a bench - just not used to it. Practice makes perfect i guess.

Got this S&W model 19-5 today

A little bit of speckling from rust (from being stored in a drawer I suspect).

Just need to get a holster and some speed loaders and shoot the heck out of it
