I find it sad that these, what I call the "False Interpretation Crowd" punks don't understand the constitution!

My nephew who has be indoctrinated by the liberal cooks shared with me how he was taught (Princeton NJ) how the 2nd amendment is only to allow the state's militias to possess arms - any private party possession is not what the founders intended and causes more harm than good! Think Germany!

WTF! And we pay the salaries to these nut jobs!!!

Yup. I called my two State Senators this morning and left them personal voice mails urging them to vote no. I instructed them not to take away my constitutional rights.

Side note to this: Two weeks from now the Supreme Court will rule in the McDonald v. Chicago case. It is expected that the court will overturn the lower courts ruling, therefore affirming McDonald's rights and incorporate the 2nd amendment against the states. Once this happens it will be much harder for stupid laws like this to pass and we'll hopefully get some dumb laws thrown out.

For those that are interesed you can read about the McDonald case here: http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/index.php/McDonald_v._Chicago

    Sorry for the rant/threadjack.

Thanks for the link. Your link however points to the bill as it was amended last April. It has been amended twice since then.

You'd be suprised. As long as there is a teachers union and the DOE, I'll be on guard. BTW, hurry up with those new Text books!;)

It'd be worth it to post what the "specified public areas" are.

    Thanks.

The law seems to make a distinction between an incorporated community and unincorporated community. Like in the city vs. outside city limits.

If this passes, we would still be able to open carry outside city limits, I believe. The experts at www.calguns.net or http://californiaopencarry.org/ would know best.
