I still compete IPSC and IDPA. To some that would be on the edge. Running through a course with a loaded gun deciding which target is good or bad.

I think they ought to come out with combat golf. Drive the ball out at least 100 yds. or get penalties and then swap the driver for a high power rifle. Then see how many times you can bounce it in 20 sec. for score.

Would give calling and hearing FOUR a whole new meaning though, and the other golfers would certainly be on edge. ;)

    I have a timer.
So what do my wondering eyes see?
    Poor peformance.
    This is fixable.
Do you really think that he can survive America`s best?
Al it takes is for one man to refuse to die and place accurate and rapid fire on target.
This is a fun game. But hardly the real deal.

This pretty easy, if you grew you with a BB Gun and a .22.
It is a bit hard to teach later.

I`ll tell you were it is. Don`t confuse games with the real deal.
I play the games myself. CASS 57338. CFDA 1233.
    I just don`t fool myself.
Drawing and firing a .45 with intent to kill it quite different.
For one thing you do not think of shooting yourself in the leg. Which seems to matter to these fast guns.
I still shoot full house lead for practice.
If after 60 years, I do it I messed up.

A golf range is a perfectly good waste of a rifle range.
    However, your idea intriges me.
We should limit long guns to .22 RF to make it interesting. Also, a HP rifle would make short work of the target.
A .357 hand gun is good to 300 yds. Have two classes. Just shoot under the ball and lifting it. Have a penalty for hitting it and spoiling the fun.
