Probably the best price/value in a pocket 9 - however I prefer a striker fired trigger over the longer double action feel.

I had a Keltec PF9 (pretty much an unrefined LC9), and it wasn't bad, but I cant dig that longer trigger.

I'm not really in the market for such - but if I was I might look at the new S&W shield.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Ruger though.

    +1

Don't like DAO in a semiauto.

I don't even fire the 92FS in DA mode after deactivating the safety.... safety off, hammer back.

    And the magazines are expensive.
If you want a boot gun, get the LCP
If you want a primary CCW, look elsewhere. G26 or XD9 if you are a large enough person to wear a double-stack grip.

Not a fan of the double action trigger. Otherwise, comfortable gun.

I'm thinking of getting one also soon but I just got a Ruger LCP .380 and I love it shoots very good and feels good too I put it in my front pants pocket with a DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster in black nylon got that from Midway USA for under $20.00. I have other handguns put since I got the LCP that's all I carry cause I can just wear a pair of shorts or dress pants and not be uncomfortable carrying it , when let us know some more about what you guys think about the Ruger LC9

The LC9 is my second best carry gun. (LCP is first).
Yes, long trigger but mine is smooth.

I would get another one if I had to.

LCP ftw, i carry one everyday which replaced a kahr pm9. Never buy a kahr, absolute piece of shit. And to the peeps complaining about double action, you need to shoot the gun and get the feel for it, i can shoot 4" groupings at 12 yards consistently with a lasermax. Not to mention if you need to draw your lcp its going to be a 5 yd shot. Lcp over lc9 anyday

^^I have shot it. I was comparing it to a Glock 26 at the range. Shot both guns that day. And the double action trigger was a no go for me.

You just have to be steady and apply constant pressure and you will not vear off the target

I carry my LC9 everyday, and I love it. I can barely tell it's there, but I have 8 rounds of 9mm at the ready all the time. The double action trigger does take some practice, but it does smooth out with use. I consistently get center mass hits to any distance up to about 50 feet. My wife is good with hers to about 40 feet. It's as accurate as my HK, just not as easily.

Thanks to all for your opinion on the LC9. So I decided to purchase the Hand gun, so far I am not disapointed in the over all performance of the LC9. OK the double action trigger does take some getting use to. But since I am a revolver shooter, No big deal. I do like the ability to hide the gun in my pocket without much being revealed. It's not perfect, but what is ????

Wasn't crazy about the Ruger trigger, but I admit I didn't shoot them.
I always go to my G-19 for carry IWB holster. I don't even notice it anymore.

Very nice on size for sure, it and LCP. I have and use both depending on the situation along with my other carry guns.
