I dont get it. Shouldnt they already be registered? All he is asking is for the owners to register their weapons. NOT take them away. I dont get this all or nothing mentality.

 

Registration is where it starts.Then comes confiscation, stupid to tell them you have one then they will know where you live.

 

We have to register our cars, but the government hasnt taken them away yet.

 

Sshh. Logic is not allowed. The confiscation starts with registration is their key catch phrase. We can't confiscate that from them too!

Not a great analogy because there is no desire to take our cars away. There is a growing number of people--politicians included--who do want to take the guns away, and they will use tragedies to further their agenda.

 

Cars kill people too Im using the same analogies that crazy gun owners use. (and being comical/non serious I might add). I dont think they want to take all guns away just specific types.
