TRD Cat-back Exhaust. Semi-Debadged. Trimmed down stock Antenna. Weathertech vent visors. TRD FJ Cruiser Center Cap Wheel Mod. 265/75/16 Firestone Destination A/T,s . Inverter tapped into for outlet in cab. Tacomaworld sticker which adds 5 hp.
Actually don't even need to jack it up! I did mine without jacking it up. Just remember to remove the spare, you need the extra room to twist it around the axel. X2 on the WD40 for the hangers though.

I installed mine in ten minutes without jacking the truck or removing anything... DO NOT PAY SOMEONE TO INSTALL!! Get under your truck and do it!
If you want some noise trd is not the way to go.. not much louder than stock...

Well I have to disagree with this. There is quite a difference from stock.
I added the cold air intake later and that causes substantial sound increase above 2000 RPMs.
Below 1800 RPM the exhaust provides a low rumble, even at idle. This is not stock sounding at all. Not sure why people say that.

Anyone have a good audio clip of a V6 Tacoma with the TRD exhaust? (Without the cold air intake)

Yea, as far as recon, its not a safety item if its still attached to the car. I got failed once when I lost a doughnut on the way to the safety check, exhaust was in good condition, just somehow the doughnut cracked. Exhaust being too loud is a few different violations, but shouldn't be on a safety.

And the TRD is just maximum loud, not overly loud by DOT standards. most people want their cars quieter than what is allowed, but kids will be kids right?

I say go for it, since the first shift into 2nd I was in love. I've had a Flowmaster 40 series on a previous truck...this sounds refined, more subdued and perfect. Happy shopping, I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you end up with.
