What are you planing to do with the rear?

 

Just want more clearance

OME Dakars would do that easy

 

Full OME with dakars and a set of 255/85 16. Would set you up nicely for clearance.

Ome shocks are better than billies? Best to buy a full 3" kit or piece it together?

 

I think that bilsetins are better, read up on monotube vs twin tube shocks. or visit the bilstein website. The good thing about OME, is that everything comes in a package, and it all works together very well.

I have the toytec ULK, while not the best, its height adjustable and maintenance free. I'm satisfied with it for the $ spent. Spend more and you can get coilovers/shocks that are serviceable and adjustable as far as dampening goes. I believe the bilsteins come with a lifetime warranty too. Double check that, its been a while since I researched it all.

Damn, i just went change my needle bearing to a new ecgs bushing because of the growling but it didn't fix it. Turns out i need to replace my passenger wheel bearing which i changed a year and half ago. Damn this is gonna be my third wheel bearing lol.

 

piecing it together is a little hit or miss, shipping in leaf springs through 4wp is probably the best way to go though...if you don't mind waiting a while.

I might be selling my rear 5100s somewhat soon. Looking for a longer shock to function better with my lift.

That's what I went with. Really like it. Don't get it assembled into "coilovers" when I was looking they were charging like $100 for that I think.

edit: it might even have been $150 or $200, can't remember now
