yeah just finally took the whole cover off.... found one of the pistons was shattered into pieces (which is why i think the fan broke to pieces)....
oh well the compressor only cost me $150 so 80 more bux is not that bad to fix.... times like this i wish it were oil

Yo nate where did you get ur masterlock locking receiving pin from? apparently the one i bought from truckfest is discontinued so yeah i got my money back. Trying a new receiving pin that wont let me down.... or rust. ever...

 

Uh, I think I got it on sale from Orileys? They have a blue and red, I don't know what the difference is, but I think the blue was $3 more. I have the blue.

 

I have the red one from there. I got the blue one first but it was not the right length. It's just a tad to short to lock. The red one works great so far.

Nate, what did the comp air set you back?

 

$225. It is $250 listed on the ebwsite, but they said its normally $270 at the Hawaii store? So $225 isn't bad.

I'm going to use my gift card to get the boot and mounting bracket.

ok so i went to Oreillys and they didn't have em. Outta stock and had no clue if they had them in Kailua either. So i went to Nappa down by Koa Pancake house and sure enough they got 2 left. well... now 1 left. Both are the red tip ones and both are on sale ------ Orignal price = 42 Sale price = 27... so i got mines now.

should i... Plasti Dip or not???? i checked the internals and they look solid as fuck compared to the walmart cheapo version that lost me a tow hook

I had Rex Tire on sand island do mine when I purchased myToyo's. Could call and see if they'd do it, even if its just the labor. They did everything on mine + an alignment. Forgot the exact cost, but it was the best price I could find at the time.
