Killer man i hear ya. I got a TJ back on Kauai (probably why im so bias)and ur right the flex on my 2010 Taco is not even close to the st8 front and that baby is stock and can go way further than a stock tacoma thats for sure. and i got nothing against the people that move here from the mainland. my fam did the same when i was little. i was only speaking from experience. Definitely dont see many places on Oahu like those videos thats for sure or atleast i never heard.

here is a taste of a nutz trail on kauai a few friends of mine been on. This is an old video but worth the watch. u pretty much cant make it if u have tires smaller than 37's

Yea, I was thinking I should get a new PSU when I bought the second 560 Ti, but I just did't. Its a Corsair 750w Gold rated. I want the 1000w Platinum. But with the i7 2600k OC'd @ 103.0x46 - 4.738GHz for an effective 37.904GHz it is using like 150w or something. And each GTX 560 Ti Classified OC'd can take up to 298w, I guess I should get on that new PSU. But this is the first problem I have had with it in over a year.

And I'm running an H100 liquid cooler for the CPU, 4 of the new Corsair high static pressure case fans, and 4 of their new high flow fans.

What games you play? I play CoD and BF but that's about it. Not much lately..

This is the only picture I have of it on photobucket, before my custom laser'ed side window and the high flow fans.

Very nice! Now I kinda want to add music to mine, but I don't want to cancel the render when its half way done already.. Oh well, next time :)

I'm 2wd and did just fine :) Hopefully my video will be done soonish.. But it is nowhere as good as Dylan's. I forgot to bring my GoPro's so I had to use my iPhone :(

I know what you mean. I'm not a rock crawling fan myself, but more of a sand dune long travel kinda guy. Had plenty of that on the mainland..

Didn't some lady get run over a few years ago on a beach in Kauai?
Sorry! that's all I could think of when I saw people laying on the beach next to all the tire tracks :D
I sure the fuck would go lay down some place closer to the beach...

yeah thats why cops hate trucks on kauai.... tickets for days for lifted trucks (they try to find illegal things like tires)

and the one ur talking about happened at a place called Marine Camps... super close to where my house is over there.
that video is of Polihale, but i think it happened there too. actually my uncle use to tell us stories of guys chasing people down the beach in their trucks..... pretty heavy

I was able to get my RECON and do the BHLM today. Headlights, start to finish was less than half day. Not bad for my first time. Didn't break anything :D

I craweled under my truck today and found the spots where my skids hit. The Rad and Tank skid were fine, but the Engine skid took 3 minor hits. Not enough to dent, but enough to peel the paint back. I know it was because I was going in some weird lines and straddling some stuff just to avoid the super slick mud. I'll have to measure the clearance to the engine skid, but I think it was around 14".

    RECON FTW :D

    Real clean build, H67 board?

I actually forgot which cpu i'm using currently. My case was too small to mount the h100, think I have the h80.

I still need to get some of those new static pressure fans.

Have a second ssd and 3 3tb hdds on the side that I need to install and raid my tower for data redundency..lost a 1tb prematurely and everything on it (like 700gbs) that was my running backup..

I kind of dable in games, played wow, eq2, planetside 1/2, sc/sc2, d3.

I'm looking to SLI my 560ti and go back to 3 displays; currently stuck at 2, so my rig is great for multi-tasking :D

Yeah, fox extended travel coilovers, and fox extended remote resi and Icon mini leaf pack in the back. I also have TC UCAs. So even tho its not very high, its still obvious its not stock.
The lights only took half a day. I did recon in the morning, and did the lights right after. Pretty easy if you plan on a mod day. The only reason I was able to do it is cause my wife and daughter is in Japan :D

Yup, buy brand new! I had the DT long tube (older version) and actually lost power, so I sold them. I think shorty's might work better for Hawaii driving.

Damn im glad to hear that.... i really wish there was more info on Headers for the second gen trucks. they all seem very mediocre at best. i might just go JBA shortys kuz my friend has them on his truck and i know they are good.

somehow 3 inch lifts look so good on our trucks. i bought my truck with a 3 inch lift already on it
