yeah I want to see how hard it is to step up for the kids. I like the 20 deg angle but its fashion vs function that I'm trying to weigh.

Mine are 10 degree also. I do think the 20 degree looks better though. It seems like my kids can climb in pretty easy with the 10's.....but I haven't seen them climb in on somebody's 20's.....might be just as easy.

nope. the angle is set when the rail is welded to the frame supports.

    Too long to list :D
Finished my test in a shade over 2 hours guys. 434 questions on one, 69 on the other.

Steeper angles look cleaner, but I think shallow angles provide more protection and allow a firmer step. Mine are like 15 deg. lol

The angle carries back all the way to the kickouts, so it's whatever degree all the way front to rear.

Dana...you da man brother for helping out this morning! Those bottom frame holes are a bitch and that mag drill was da shit! Too bad we had to drill the fronts without it...haha. And the fact that we both got metal shavings in da eye area. Thankfully, not in, but damn that shit was hot!!! My eye lid is still sore...lol And next time...full coverage on the safety glasses...lmao!

If i had to do it over I would still have 20°.. Miles boys are older.. I still got a baby... I think 20 has more "outward" protection.. 10 is closer to the body to squeeze between..

only thing I wish I did different was this whole 4x deal but with the price I paid my coworker for this truck (and the amount of 4x4 needs I have) all in all I would still probably do that again too...

No prob. Didn't have full goggles and safety glasses don't do shit when there's hot shavings flying everywhere. lol. I'm top shape except for where I rolled over on the molten hot bit and branded my arm. lol. With all that said, the sliders came out nice and are bolted on as they should be.

Neil, actually its the other way around. The angle is bent up, so the 10 degree actually extends outward more and the 20 hugs closer to the cab... Zero being flat...

Glad to hear you're OK bro...:) Thanks again!

Saw a white SR-5 (2011 or so) 4x4 access cab with full All-Pro armor...front, rear, sliders and skids with King resi's, 285's and dual Hella lights in front cruising towards Waipahu today on the H1. We exchanged Shaka's although I have no idea who he was. Wonder if he peruses the Oahu thread... He had a sick Taco...
