Took my truck out to Upolu in Kohala yesterday. Nice and sunny with some mud to play in.

It's actually a public beach access if the public can make it thru most of the mud holes. The road is pretty bust now. Had a few close calls getting stuck couple times with the mud up to my running boards. Was good fun tho watching tourists in their rental jeeps sink the front end and back pedal pounding um in reverse all panicking lol.

I wouldn't call it a "beach" no more sand just choke prime fishing spots for uluas. The water is rough as hell.

lol i used to take my old taco down there back when you could ride the track and before they shut d the fun trails. last time I went down there, a year ago, it was dry. there used to be some nice table tops and whoops section…super fun.

the mud is like south pt. caked/water on top, hard on bottom. if you got tall tires, 2wd it.

how muddy is muddy? I wanna go play...

I havent been down there in years. Decided to stroll thru. I remember when you could take the road all the way to coast guard. Now get gates. I had skinny tall 33"s and manage to sink um under water and stir up mud. Was pretty dry most of the way in tho.

Probably wasn't me lol. I went the mountain road up through saddle around that time. Actually little bit earlier. I got into Hilo around 3 something.

Do I see a straight axle coming up soon? 4wd too? Lol

Driving to Kona yesterday. Spotted a white double cab on saddle road both ways. He had a TRD pro grill. And eyelids. Bhlm maybe. Just looked decked out. No lift though

hah no, ill just have it sitting around. I realize I need my taco as a every day kind of truck instead of trashing it every time I hop in it. maybe if a wreck pops up, but for now I've got a few other trucks I gotta put together.

goat week and a half more till we go to the club…and I need something that won't get stuck. lol
