    went up to mauna kea today. road was closed but we went anyways. decided to do some trail driving. we tried to beat the sun but it didn't happen. hoping to go up mauna loa and check it out. I've never been before. i hope everyone can get some snow this time around!

    Took the Prerunner down to Makalwena for the first time yesterday. Worked just fine. Used rear locking diff once down and all the way back up to be safe. Love this truck.

    It's good to have that locker, when I had my sport going back up in 2wd I was slipping at that one spot because I tried to take the harder line to test it out

    and then it broke and got towed all the way back to kona.


    there's like 3-4 darker gray 95-04 straight front ex cab tacos around the same height in kona. that one was built by hk auto over on the east side. theres money into that drivetrain.
