sup guys, another guy here on Maui with a Taco checking in...tacomaworld is no doubt a wealth of information for all Taco owners. Already spent too much $ on mods for my '13 Taco, all because of this forum...How can I tell the tacomaworld guys apart on the road from the average joe? If you guys see a Magnetic Gray '13 Taco, with the white/amber DTRL mod, anytime fog light mod, Roll and Lock tonneau cover, and debagged das me. Honk, wave, shaka, finger, whatever to get my attention its all good. If I cut you off, drive to slow, or whatever to make you mad on the road, my bad in advance.

auright, will keep an eye out for you guys. At least your trucks have things that will definitely distinguish yourself. Mines still look like the average joe but I like the stealthily look. How you guys attach pics to come up and not as attachments?

I used the morimoto's on my bike. So might use the same ones. Plus I already have the relay harness ready.

Looks good, did you install them yourself? I debating if I should go with the D2S or the H1. D2S will give me more options as what brands/type of ballast and bulb I can put in, the H1 is cheaper but has less options. I really don't plan on changing things once they are installed so might take the cheaper route. I wasn't planning on getting halos because if one craps out I really don't want to take the light assembly apart again to fix/replace the halo. What you guys think? Im going to get the 6000K bulbs to match my led's but not sure what wattage ballast I want to go with. I want brighter lights but I don't want to be the prick blinding people. You guys think going have problems with safety check or with MPD if I did the BHLM with the retrofits?

TRS kits won't blind people. They are proper projectors with a cut off. The good thing about the morimoto's is that they are bi xenon. Also I'd take a D2S bulb over a rebased bulb any day. As for safety. Both my Si and bike run retrofits and they pass. Even the JDM headlights on my TSX pass. It even has the slight blue corners.

Thanks for the reply guys, looks like the price different isnt much between the D2S and H1 with the 25% off group buy that TRS is currently offering. Looks like I will go witht the D2S. Do you guys think the 3Five ballast along with the 3Five 6000K bulb produces enough light? Deffinately the 5Five combination will give more light but I read that I will be sacraficing life span. I just wanna hear your gus input. I don't want to have buyers remorse later and say "I should have gotten that instead". Its alot of money for me being an old fart with 3 kids and motage, I just wanna get it right the first time since I never seen or did this mod before.
