Some donkey bought the trd pro then sold em with 1k miles haha. So dumb.

 

Saw the inferno red trdpro tundra at IMM this past week. talked with the owner for a little bit. He said his brother bought the new inferno red tundra and that the trdpro tacoma from the mainland belonged to someone who came to maui often from the Mainland but didn't want it anymore or something like that. That inferno red is a really neat color

 

Anybody doing some camping this afternoon? My girl been bugging me to go out somwhere. This is our setup, so anywhere truck goes, we just camp! Or anybody know where to go to getaway from the norm? Any truck access only hidden beaches??

 

nice setup almost all "nice" beaches meaning sand are all pretty accessible to anyone. Back behind haleakala like mitchell said is almost all lava rock. You kinda have to choose between the beach or the privacy. It is really cool out there but be careful just going down any old road. Ive almost gotten stuck on some of them. Idk if you have a TRD OR or not but i would have for sure been stuck without the locker exploring some road to nowhere... But i digress.
Windmills up past kapalua is pretty cool. Nice view not usually people there. Sometimes there is a group camping but usually pretty mellow. Its right after Honolua bay but before honokohau. Small overgrown little road. Easy to miss.
Theres polipoli not a beach but can go to the ball park up top and park in a corner. Nobody will be there and you shouldn't get in trouble. I can't find any laws saying anything against it. Check up yourself tho. The big field at the bottom has some little side roads off into the sides by the forest can go to nobody will bother you.
You'll be able to find something easily enough. Just take it easy don't be like me and go somewhere you might not make it out of that would suck. Enjoy.

 

I saw one on order from maui toyotas inventory like a month ago. I don't know if its been bought or what. But i love the color. My car before my taco was an Orange scion xb. almost same color. I love the color. I woulda bought a pro if they had one on the lot at the time i bought my truck. I hope they don't put a lift like the black tundra IMM has. Probably gonna end up a road queen like that one. That tundra must be like a 12 inch at least. Idk how guys get into those trucks. Im just tall enough to not have to jump into my truck and my trucks only a like 4 inches higher than stock. Meh whatever. Ill be stoked to see it riding around.

 

Thanks for the heads up, yeah, I think we saw that yesterday when driving across the island. I have a TRD with the locker and a winch up front too. Next plan is to get a boat anchor in case there is noting to winch from in the open.

 

Ah your fine then. Youvr probly got one of the more capable trucks on the island. I havent seen any tacomas with winches yet.

Got me a work truck now.....the taco is officially a play truck.

 

Buying a rifle next week. Thatll take the truck money for awhile. The Next purchase for the truck is tires. Gonna be awhile on a 19 year olds budget haha. But these terra grapplers aint the best.
