Will have to be the airport around 1600 to pick up my parents on the 2nd. Later in the month my wife and son will be out of town so I'm free then.

I'll wait until I have a better idea to vote. But since I'm 2wd I would have to ride with somebody if they don't mind

If we need to clean, I can bring the weed wacker, chain saw too, and gene.

Never done Peacock Flats. You guys think I could make it with stock suspension running 265/75R16 Duratracs. Mine's a SR5 longbed 4x4 and I could do the YWM pretty easily.

Just thought I'd ask because I've seen some pretty gnarly pics on Wrangler Forum and Ohana Trails website.

IMHO, you should have at least sliders and a locker to do the trails. Just cruising the road, a stock truck is fine. Some spots take a LOT of commitment and being ok with some scratches and mangled bumpers.

If it's going to be a wheeling trip, I may be up for the trip. Anyone interested in doing some wheeling?

Thanks. I have sliders but no lockers. Not looking to get too crazy with my brand new truck but a scratch or two would be fine.

Most of the trails, yes. Initiator and jeep eater, no. Well, parts of jeep eater have bypasses, but not the big hill.

The trails should be a little different after all the rain. You guys don't have to go wheeling, I was just seeing if anyone was up to it.

P.S. The new tacos can do it.

Of course it's worse up there now. These were from 07

I guess ill bypass the initiator and jeep eater . Although that white Tacoma on 3 wheels looked good doing that. My goal for the 1st time up there is to come back the same way I went up. Except for being dusty of course.

I wish I did my homework on the differences bwtween the Sport and Off-Road. The guy at the dealership said it was suspension but that was a lie. Not having the locker kind of sucks.

I will be wheelin' again I have yet to be up there but I don't trust people's word for "trails" here. I was told K point required a 3" Lift before going up there and seeing its nothing. I useto run "upper blacks" with no lift back in VA, EVERYTHING is subjective.

Don't worry, that e-locker is always swapped out when getting serious.
