Today I ended up painting all the scrapes I made under the truck while at Kaena pt.
I had to grind off all the rust that was starting with a steel wire wheel and paint over the bare metal. Both sliders, frame rail, transfer case skid, rear axle housing, and even the tow hitch mounting bracket. I guess it could have been worse, glad it wasn't the cab getting crunched.
And Bullaculla's harness relocator bracket worked like a charm! Guarantee it would've broken off, even scraped the rear bumper on something.
I guess underbody protection is worth if if you're running a 3" lift.

    Too long to list :D
Figured out my GoPro recorded 11 minutes or so when we started back towards the front. I'll try and edit it tomorrow.

Died right before the mud :(

Did you notice a lot of scraping while we were there, or was the dam he a surprise?

I remember hearing skids twice on my truck but it must have been sand because I can't find scratches.

I only recall a really loud bang from the passenger side. Found a couple of nicks at the front of the slider, so I must have come down hard on something.
Other than that, not really. It was from getting high centered, and still pulling forward, ahaha. The tow hitch/mounts and rear bumper are from departure angle I assume... I really don't know where those came from.
It was good to finally have some fun with the truck, though! I just hate rust. Had to get it before it takes over.

looks like the airflow has less exposed over the fender and from some pics posted by others that installed it, the A-piller screws are kinda optional because of the snug fit.

but it is a little more expensive

I saw your tow hitch scrape in the dirt when you were climbing out of where we all parked when you went for another run with 1uz and phil.

Found an article on it. Does everybody want to go with the air flow style snorkel? Maybe trd girl can get us a deal on this snorkel since it seems that she has all these connections on getting parts for cheap. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/performance-tuning/282741-safari-vs-airflow-snorkels-2.html

Been thinking about a snorkel for a while now (like the safari look, but airflow doesn't look all that bad), trying to decide if I'm going to benefit from that or a HC rear bumper most... either way I'd be cutting into the truck and that scares me a little.
