I was trying to lower a hummer trailer and the stand release lever malfunctioned dropping the trailer on me. It pinned my arm between the frame and stand and some how in the process of that I slammed or twisted my ankle, breaking it.

Well mike, I guess you're gonna have to hit the trails with Ratha. I don't have sliders yet and Ratha charges hard. I'm not that hardcore :D

    I haven't been called a hoe in a long time. :D

Thanks guys!!! The doc said if I keep my weight off my ankle is should heal really fast since the bones didn't shift out of place. I'll find out for sure how I'm healing Tuesday when I go back for my check up and re-evaluation.

Does DLNR ever go up there? Or is that okay to drive up?

As far as I know, they are old roads they don't maintain anymore so it's OK to drive up them. I have never seen DLNR on a trail, only the maintained roads.

Well, you can go but it could be an expensive trip. I've done it and seen many do it without damage, but there is always that one time that things don't go the way they should.

I'm not sure how to get a pass to enter. I only have applied for camping permits. Might have to search it. I know there was a link in another thread. Hope you make it out. Just driving up to the campground on either the main road or lower road is pretty fun.

Nah, not gonna risk it without sliders. This is my daily driver...
Wouldn't be too bad if I still had my supermoto as a backup to get to work. How are you healing up?

You can either mail the printout in or take it to either location on the permit and get it printed out right there.

I'm doing good so far. I got a boot for my ankle instead of a cast. It seems like my fiance is willing to wheel my 4runner too. :D
