I'm shopping around for a supercharger and fit kit for my 2013 4.0L

Anyone work at a Toyota dealer that can get me a good deal? Best price I found so far is from trdparts4u Four well under $4000 shipped. I would rather buy local if I can get the same price if not better.

Anyone know someone that know someone?

If you installing supercharger yourself trdparts4u has the best deal. But if you going to have Servco install it for you buy it from Servco they will give you warranty versus buying online and Servco install no warranty.

X2 if you pick up the super charger online and have Servco install labor going to be around $800-900. That's if you don't care abou the warranty. Servco Toyota is separate from Toyota USA so they won't warranty the supercharger only if you buy it from Servco then they will. Too me bunch of baloney.

I don't know about the Toyota USA part, but from when I was dealing with Servco not being able to order TRD parts, TRD USA said that Servco Hawaii deals with the Japan Distributor for parts so some TRD things are not available for order. So, I had to use mainland toyota dealers to get parts that wouldn't even show up on servco's computers.
I guess it just depends on how much the warranty is worth it for you. For the price difference, you might want to look into private warranty services.

trdparts4u doesnt ship to hawaii for free. if you put the order in they will call you and say they must charge 2-300 for shipping to hawaii. sucks that they wont honor the website.

ive heard of servco doing 4500ish for trd s/c, trd exhaust, and install. if you bought your truck brand new through servco, id suggest talking to your sales rep to see if they can hook you up.

i was out of luck, couldnt get a qoute for everything for under 6g! i ended up ordering from trdparts4u, installing myself and having servco reflash the ecu for an additional 125.

That's probably because it wasn't a "deal" with the brand new truck. The customer paid for it either way...

Iirc TRD requires the blower to be a separate purchase and cannot be financed with the truck.

Either way, its worth money IMHO.

After some thinking, I'm going with lockers and re gear. I think that's the best thing to do considering the strain on the truck after all the added weight and bigger tires. Sc will have to wait.
