    Hey guys,

I am coming to Kona, Hawaii tomorrow for 17 days. Wondering where the fun places are to drink. Any cool happy hour spots? Wing nights? Best place to buy liquor?

where in kona are you gonna be staying?

humpy's alehouse on ali'i drive has something like 30 beers on tap

same area there's also KBC- the kona brewing company, where you can pick up kegs and growlers if you want. they have a built in restaurant that's great built in too

the pizza rolls there are awesome!

I don't know of much else besides the little beach/marina little south of the airport, can check out some turtles cruising on the beach :)

might be worth a drive up the cost and maybe take a trip up to Hilo.

The island is pretty laid back though...I don't think there was anything really going on after 9pm besides some bars

Thanks guys. my buddy owns a big place up there. I guess i am going to kohala ranch big island. Hoping to see lots of tacomas. My dad said there is tons out there. I would LOVE to do some dirt biking or quading out there but its to damn expensive to get a bike renta. If anyone has a few bikes I would pay to go out riding for the day!

go costco for beer...lol. I usually drink steinlager/heineken. Cheapest steiny goes for is 9.99 on sale for a 12, or 12.88 for heiny. costco is 21.69 for steins, 26 for heiny. I dont pay attention to the rest. I think bud light/coor is like 22 for a box of cans.

theres a lot to see on island...im sure the 17 days will be awesome.

Did you rent your own car?
